I love these tee shirts! They are a solid weave (no waffle texture) and are well designed and made. The articulated shoulder and under arms improve range of motion and comfort. They are lightweight and breathable, compared to cotton or cotton blends. I’m not sure if I can say this, but I think they beat Under Armour (R) in FIVE aspects: 1) These are made in the USA, 2) They don’t stink (UA tees get a nasty odor, in my opinion, when you sweat in them), 3) I don’t feel like I’m sticking to the shirt under the weight of my gear, 4) Extra length stays tucked in better OR helps with EDC concealment and 5) They just have a more complimentary fit when worn as an outer layer. Pleasantly snug around the upper arm/chest and a little loose around the lower abdomen and stretchy! In the pictures, I’m 5’ 10”, 227 lbs. wearing a size XL.
I think this is perfect for the temperature range suggested in the description. But as an extra layer, even in colder temps, it’s still very beneficial. The seams are very comfortable next to the skin and the garment doesn’t bind in the shoulder or armpit. The extra length helps it stay tucked in during activity, which is awesome! It’s very comfortable to wear if you prefer a relaxed fit vs. a compression fit. What I was not expecting was the waffle weave texture which definitely makes it look like long underwear. This tends to make it less wind proof, if your outer layer is also not wind proof. Just something to consider, but I’m sure the weave assists with the moisture wicking. I definitely stay dry (and warm) in this, even when I’m sweating! Overall, another excellent addition to my cold weather gear!
This definitely helps keep my face and neck warm, especially on cold AND windy days. However, I’m not crazy about how it smushes my nose and how the bottom edge tends to rise up when moving around, exposing my lower neck to the wind. It’s fine if I zip my coat up all the way, but sometimes it’s not convenient to do so. Perhaps the non super stretch version would have been better for both of these issues, but it’s definitely better than a scarf and tucks away more easily in a pocket when not in use. Still an excellent addition to my cold weather gear!
Until someone invents a watch cap shaped to cover your ears, this is the next best thing! I wouldn’t say I have an extraordinarily large head, but the size L/XL is large enough that you can roll it down to cover your ears and pretty much stays in place. The one size fits all hat has a tendency to slide up with normal movement, thus uncovering your ears. I was constantly pulling it back down. Then I upgraded to this hat. It stays in place much better and is very warm! You can also roll up the bottom edge and wear it in the traditional watch cap style. It looks great, feels great and is a thicker fleece than the other one. If your ears get cold like mine, this is the better option!
The shirt is comfortable, feels cooler than standard issue, for sure. Pits still need some airing, but what can you do? It’s the price that really drops a star. Paying $93 for a shirt when I can get 9 duke’s shirts for less money is a big ask. Is the shirt great? Yes. Is it $93 great? That’s iffy.
Ordered a medium based on my other XGO shirt but it was a little small especially around the neck. Thanks to excellent customer service, I was able to exchange for a large which fits much better. This version breathes better and keeps me cooler on hot days.
Bought these and compared them to spiritus systems new rugby shirts. The multicam itself is brighter and almost like cartoony. The material has almost no stretch or give around the shoulders and is definitely stiffer and rougher. If your paying full price i would definitely buy spiritus, if you’re doing a discount it comes down to whether the comfort is worth $20-40 to you. (For me I will keep these but buy spiritus in the future)
I returned my order 18636 and have not received my refund. You received my order 10 days ago. You do not answer your phone calls and you do not respond to my messages.

Alfonso - unacceptable on our part. We will make it right.

The feel of the Lightweight Performance Neck Gaiter is great!
However, it does have one noticeable drawback. It is only 9 inches tall, whereas my older FR neck gaiter is 19 inches tall. The lightweight gaiter is so short that it struggles to reach my shirt's collar when the gaiter is fully extended over my mouth and nose. I would like to see the lightweight gaiter be made just a tad bit longer, 12 inches tall would be the height I would suggest.
Great shirt for work, fits true to size and is very comfortable. No drip, no melt, is a great feature that a lot of other brands don't offer for these style shirts and should be taken into consideration for personal safety. I plan to purchase the long sleeve as well.
Great experience! The performance underwear shipped fast and got here before the Iran conflict started. Now I can shit my britches in the bunker and have a replacement available. 5/5 stars
Wrong size and I requested a return and I never got a response. I now have 3 pairs of very expensive long underwear that I haven't had new since I was in the navy 16 years ago because I couldn't afford them now i have 3 that are too big and I can't return them and I can't wear them.
I ordered the medium shirt and it seems way to tight but it’s what your size chart suggested. I should have ordered a large. That said, quality and materials are excellent. Hopefully my medium will stretch as time goes by.
Store owner replied:
Paul - we hear you and agree, these compression items are snug but that’s the reason we made an annotation on the products page that clearly states sizing up is recommended for this product. If you’d like swap for a large we can make that happen.
